Days Two and Three

(warning, lots of photos!)

This is what I've learned about Seattle in the 48 hours that I've been here:

Rain?  What rain?  We've had sunny skies and glorious temps in the 60s since we arrived.

Fish and coffee are a big deal out here.

Dogs are everywhere.   Big dogs, small dogs, hairy dogs.  EVERYWHERE.

A lemon shot martini is about the best drink I've ever tasted.

Wine tastings rock on both coasts.

The folks are pretty darn friendly.

The combination of water and mountains is breathtaking.

Did I mention the dogs?

Tulips!  Tulips!  Tulips!  Heaven for this tulip lover.

Manchester United games are shown everywhere.  Even 8:00 on a Sunday morning.  At Mick Kelly's Irish Pub.  When the Ju was sleepy from the time change.  (they won!)

I keep expecting to see Meredith and Derek, but so far, nothing.

More adventures tomorrow!

Love...love...love the photos.
I was born in Seattle...I have ALWAYS felt I should have been left there!!!
Instead - they packed me up as a baby and headed East, then West, then East...then West.
End of story...I ended in So.Cal.
The test drive - a jeep....
this may be "the one" - waiting until Son comes home to claim back "the beast"
enjoy your traveling - I would love to be in your suitcase!!

Ah, love it. Seattle is so fun to visit. I walked and walked--and found out about the hills the hard way! Looks like perfect weather.
