Did you know it was Boss's Day today? Did you wish your boss a happy day?
I didn't.
I spent most of my day grumbling and moaning and complaining, you know, a typical Monday.
I'm the Office Manager/Director of Operations/Do the Crap Work at my office. I'm the day to day boss, but not the big boss. I'm kinda the Mama Bear Boss. I had one person wish me a happy day. Was everyone preoccupied, or is this an indicator that I'm sucking in the job department? I'm sure it wouldn't hurt for me to do some introspection. I wasn't bothered by not hearing this, it was just different.
I have one boss, the owner. I didn't say anything nice to him or get him a card. No snacks. Barely a smile. I was preoccupied.
Happy Boss's Day Bill. Thanks for giving me a job and enabling me to do the things that are important to me.

PS - Talk of Missouri coming to the SEC. Which means Handsome Baseball Coach Brother may be down in this area playing some baseball. Which is good. Which also means Sister of Handsome Baseball Coach Brother may be down in this area watching some baseball. Which is really, really good.
