Happy Father's Day!

My dad loved popping peanuts in his mouth.
He also loved the underdog.

Godfather Movies.  Bugs Bunny.  Broadway Musicals.
Your name is Judith, so when shortened, it only makes sense that it would be Judi.
Football.  Football.  Football.

Vodka in the Freezer.
Enjoy golf for the surroundings, Judi.
Black Olives at holidays.

Hip always out of place, so he walked funny.
Couldn't dance to save his life, but that didn't keep him from doing it.
NOT a snappy dresser.

Loved Jake like crazy.
Voracious reader.
Coaching shorts and no Top.  (ugh)
Snored like a madman.  (that's where I get it?)

Potato Chips were of the Gods.
Steak RARE.  No other way acceptable.
He cried at movies.
Corn on the cob and tomatoes with tons of salt and pepper.

Happy Father's Day Dad.  I hope they have a great Father's Day cookout in Heaven today.

Beautiful, Ju.

You look like your dad, and in the pic, Jake looks like you. Three generations all connected.

Dads are such very, very special people.

Love you, JuJu.

So lovely! What a fantastic smile your dad had--I think you have his smile, yes?--and your mom was so very pretty! It's hard today, isn't it, without a dad to call up and talk to? I miss mine every single day {sniff sniff}, as I'm sure you do.

I do hope my dad is with yours having some potato chips and beer up in heaven!

(no word today in honor of dearly departed daddies!)

I agree with Angie! Most excellent post!
Images of my Dad, as I was growing up, popped into my head as I was reading your blog.

Always coaching shorts, but my dad did have on a shirt. :)

I don't think I have ever seen my dad drink any other kind of soda other than full blown Coke.

Sleeping on a raft in the pool after work...getting so dag gone dark!

Only Pizza Hut pizza.

Good memories...you are a good Judi (with an i).
