Saturday on the Water

Yesterday was a gorgeous, though HOT, day in the lowcountry.  Being Labor Day weekend, we did what everyone seemed to do, and went boating.  As I said, everyone else must have had the same idea, as there were many many many boats on the water.  It made for great people watching.

We saw dogs in boats.

We saw boats going under bridges.

We saw a lot of pretty boats surrounded by pretty clouds.

We saw Dorks in Boats.

And a REALLY big boat.

Just to show you how REALLY BIG this boat was.

There was even a sailboat.

And my fave -- the napping boat.

Happy Cookout Day!

Looks like you had a great day! Wonder if you were going under the bridge as I was going over it.

There is nothing like being out on the water!

So blue and white and pretty! I'm afraid to be on a boat, I have to confess. I love the water (swimming, etc.), but I'm afraid to be out in water with any depth unless I'm on a BIG boat. Goes along with my fear of cranes (mechanical ones, not the birds), I guess!
