A Friend's Pretty Yard

We have a lot of friends who have green thumbs.  I'm always impressed with a green thumb, because I'm a one man wrecking crew when it comes to anything with leaves.

I must admit, I don't like getting my hands dirty.  I don't like the feel of grass.  Yes, I'm a freak.  So, I really respect people who get in their yard, dig holes, plant things, grow things, harvest things, and keep their yards so pretty.

We spent time yesterday with some of our green thumbed friends.   Not only is their yard pretty, but they are constantly doing things and on the go.  Yesterday, they put together a new fire pit so we could have the first fire of the night.  (Steven is the helper elf.)

Chairs had to be scrubbed.

Look at the gorgeous colors in these flowers.  (note:  all pretty pictures are taken by Steven.  The grainy icky ones are mine)

 The obligatory dog-toy-in-the-tiki-torch picture:

I may not be able to grow them, but I sure do enjoy them.

I also enjoy this Pumpkin Ale.  You can really taste the pumpkin spice.

Green Thumb Jodi and Mr. Weirdo.

How gorgeous is this?  It's an outdoor shower; Jodi took her showers here all summer.

It was a nice afternoon, filled with all sorts of good beer, pretty flowers and happy people.  And I didn't have to get my hands dirty.  Perfection!

Well you have made my day! I say this with dirty finger nails from digging in the dirt today. It really makes me feel good for you to say you would hire me to buy for you. Thanks!
I have never seen this beer and I love my beer!
Enjoy your week and hugs to you,

I love that Pumpkin beer. Yum. by the way, Sherri and I went to a farmer's market last Friday and saw something that reminded us of you. I won't spoil it; I'll give her time to post it. Wish we could all go have coffee and laugh! hope you have a great day...

Well, we all have something in common, we love the Pumpkin Ale!!

And, I can't wait to find out about this item you saw at the market.

I'm intrigued and a bit frightened! :-)

Pumpkin beer! To go with my pumpkin bagel, pumpkin hummus, and pumpkin latte...yum-a-licous!

I do like to get my hands dirty, mostly. I enjoy gardening but wish I had better soil in which to do it! We have clay soil, likened to "plant coffins" by some.

word: chlygili (wtf?)

I ate some chlygili, some pickalili, and drank some beeragilly.

He's

Hey, where did that "He's" come from? Ghost in the machine? Boo.

word: argyl

The ghost is not invisible because he's wearing argyl socks.
